Thing 2

Reminds me of one of Harveys books.. I refered to Thing 1 earlier, and here is thing 2 for his Party Bags. Little covered notepads.

So far 6 made, 6 more to go. Each Space Ian (The Greetings Farm) is colouring according to boy who is receiving it. There is a complete split of blonde and brown haired boys, apart from of course Harvey with his special shining hair!

Ran out of paper so I hope to get them tomorrow in the post. Made quiet simple as they are 5 & 6 year olds that wont care much about them LOL or might for all of 5 minutes.

Getting ready for Party

As I have said, Harveys birthday is Sunday and his party is too... so I have brought the usual plastic bits for the bags, bouncy balls, disc shooters, little parachute men and I am making a few things too...

Here is thing number one

plastic test tubes filled with millions and topped with a cute Changito in space monkey from Stampendous and the circle and star punch from Stampin' Up! I pieced a little piece of ribbon between the star and circle and just put that inside the tube and popped the cap on.

Blue

No, not me feeling blue, although watching the news seems to make me feel like that with all doom and gloom, but the colour. Its a colour I dont tend to use a lot. But I made a card using various shades of blue from Stampin' Up! and using all products from them too.

I will try and list all products used but I dont have my catalogue as my mum has borrowed it so I need to try and remember what it all is.
Pattered Paper is the designer prints in bashful Blue
Ballet Blue, Bordering Blue and So Saffron cardstock - I stamped the cavas background on to the cardstock - which you cant really see but it give a fab textured appearence, like you have used bazzill but its not.
I stamped the image using my inkpads. If I had the pens it would be much easier. I used old Olive, bashful blue and pumpkin pie on a dauber for the centre. I then used a paper pricking tool and pricked about the outside of the card and used the same orange dauber to rub about the edge. I used the pricking tool to make the holes for the jewelled brads. Of course no card would be complete without the scalloped circle, which I punched from ballet blue and pricked with the tool. I used the 1 3/8 punch to punch out the greetings which is from the fab hostess set (name escapes me though sorry) The main image is from the Live your dreams set.

Another one for the mad house..... meet......

Yoshi!

Harvey is 6 on 1st March and he said he wanted a Hamster for his birthday. He talked non stop about if for a week. I decided that on his birthday he will be too caught up with his party ect that we would get his present early and we went and got Yoshi and his "Space Command Centre".. LOL now I always wanted rotastak for my Hampters/Gerbils but it was too expensive. But as this is Harveys main (if not only) pressie we went for the biggest and best!! Yesterday Yoshi stayed in his house and only got into the long tube a few inches in and that was when Harvey was sleeping.... today clever Yoshi got right to the top to the "observation deck" ;0) Here are a few pics...

Harvey is thrilled to have Yoshi!

Clever Yoshi ;0) This was the first time he went up to the very top... that little drawer cant be pulled out and treats put into it.. How cute.

He keeps stuffing his cheeks full of food and going to the tube to eat it. Now he has managed this tube he is whizzing up and down really quickly.

Been a while

Have been really busy. Friday night we went to a wedding reception. A wedding with a twist as my friend had won a competition for a secret wedding so she actually only proposed to her partner at about 7.45 in the morning and married at 9!! Fantastic!

So here is the card I made them.

Stamp is from Crafts U Love and the rest of it from craftwork cards.

We had a great time at the party and the boys loved it, Darren and I were forced to dance as they kept dragging us up. It was as really lovely evening though.

I have often sung the praises of freecycle. I get rid of all I want to on there and also have picked up some great things too. (google freecycle to find out about it) anyway, I saw this on Friday and had to have it. I was thrilled to have got it too!

I have my craftwork cards stuff in the top drawer, linen card in the next, hammer card in the next. Then on the shelves I have my most used punches, at the back it has little cubby holes and I have put my jars of card candy on those. Then it has two long holes for artists rolls of paper I assume which have stoppers to make them longer or shorts, so I have them in the shortest and I have my nesties in those and a few other bits. Its on wheels so I cant wheel it to where I sit. RESULT!! The man said he was happy that it was going to someone who was really going to enjoy using it. ;0)
I have a mountain of washing to catch up with today, clean the guinea pigs out, do the shopping , make a roast so I dont know if crafting is on the agenda.
BTW if anyone is local and is looking for a monthly craft group to come along to I will be going along to a monthly meeting in Nutfield Nr Redhill. More details on my SU website (address on the left bar)

Cute Grown up Anya

I am entering this into the Greetings Farm sketch challenge. Wish me luck!

Stamps from http://www.diestodiefor.co.uk/ they are currently the only ones with this set and there service is fanastic!!

5 cards 2 tags made

But I can't share... well only one of them. I am pleased to say over the coming months I have a few magazine articles coming out. One of which is the 4 cards and 2 tags and showing off a fantastic yummy range of fizzing stamps! and a equally yummy range of creamy papers and gooey embellishments. First to guess what two companies and their range names are meeting on these cards will win a little something! And can you believe it yesterday I was also comissioned for some early Christmas cards!! GULP. I am thrilled the magazines are still working with me as there are so many new talents out there. Thats not to say I havent had to push ideas there way all the time and finally get some work ;0)

OK so the card I can share is from Penny Black , this fairy is tooooo cute. I got it from The Glitter Pot. The paper is doodlebug. Photo is really bad. I "need" one of those photo cubes! I coloured her in with Promarkers.

This week is half term so crafting is a bit hit and miss. You can still craft shop though cant you? Well if you can, you had better check out http://www.diestodiefor.co.uk/ as they have NEW stock on Anyas which includes the NEW Anya kit with the 3 grown up Anyas AND the on the farm kit too. Tell them Caz sent ya!

Me, the boys and Mum went to local lakes yesterday for walk, climbing trees, splash in mud, roll down the bank and feed the ducks (and that was just Mum LOL) and on the way home a macdonalds, it was a lovely day, kids were well and truely knackered so it kept them quieter in the afternoon. Bliss. We have all been invited (Darren, me and kids) to a party friday night, so I will need to take kids out Friday to get Caiden to sleep in the day or he will be soooo tired. I cant tell you anymore yet about the party but its very exciting!! and very very secret!

I have a favour to ask of some of you.... if you have a few minutes and a card spare please email me ;0) for more info

Saturdays classes

I had two lovely classes at The Glitter Pot on Saturday and it was really lovely as my Mum decided to come along and do the classes and she enjoyed them, although she says she not into cardmaking I could see that maybe that might change the more she does!

So here are mine and mums cards. - mine are the first ones. She did fantastically well for her first classes and I was also very grateful to have someone in the car with me as I am still having panic attacks since my spin! Especially as it was a frosty morning.

I have been creating a new website and its solely for my Stampin' Up! promotions and information. As you all know I am trying to build on my customer base as well as get other people joined as demonstrators but I dont want to keep harping on about it on my blog as I dont like feeling like I am annoying those that dont want to know. So my website will be SU stuff, I will still post SU cards on here and other cards using SU products and may well shout "hey check out my SU website for more info on xxxxx" but thats about it. I do hope some of you will have a peek now and then. Oh and the address is www.stampingcaz.co.uk nice and easy eh?

Luv Ya! - Valentines Day

Not really a big thing in my house. Darren doesnt get me a card and I dont expect one. This year in April we have been married for 9 years and together for 20!! So I have during the 20 years got used to the fact that my hubby isnt a romantic type. But thats OK, thats him, he was like that when I met him and I love him all the same ;0) this doesnt stop of me of course making him a card and sometimes buying him a little something, usually Chocolate!

Here is the card I made him, he has been banned from reading my blog this week encase I showed off his card, he is a blog stalker you know, he is always reading my posts! Makes me a little nervous sometimes I can tell ya (I am SURE you know why) Anyway... I used one of the lovely Stampendous Fluffles stamps... this is such fun to colour and I coloured my cats in Ginger for Darren and Brown for me! I used my SU inkpads to colour this in and used all one colour family which was Earth Elements. It doesnt have to cost the earth to colour with the inkpads as you can buy the Stampin' Spots now which are 1" square inkpads and for a set of 12 its £17.50 they are perfect for colouring with too, take the lid off press the colour onto a tile or plate and use with a waterbrush as a palette. perfect! The white embossed hearts are the hearts from the Sale-a-bration Polka Dot Punches set and the sentiment is one I have had for years. I used my Nestie Labels one dies (YEAH AT LAST) and the papers are SU.
I am off to the Glitter Pot today for 2 classes, should be fun, one layer cards and Lots of Layers and my Mum is coming with me so that will be nice ;0)

Another Angel Anya

I made this card for the Club Anya Sketch. This adorable stamp is from the Greeting Farm. I only have 2 of these designs. The other one is Ian the Astronaut which I have not used to make a card... Perhaps that is a project for tomorrow.

All the card and paper is SU, the ribbon woodware, lots of glitter and Liquid Pearls.

Love Muffin

Did that make you giggle? Not sure why but it does me.... and apparently this is what this stamp is called, and yes I just checked on the Magnola site and it is called Love Muffin ;0)

I also used Tilda with Puppy, the with love from the Yummy SU set, Martha punch for the border. I coloured it with my SU inkpads... very very simple. I even stamped an extra image so I go two puppies on the card. Was going to attempt a 101 puppy cards but got bored at two ;0)

I think the flags need to come out... this week I
1/ sent cards to a magazine WAYYYY before the deadline and
2/ Finished my prep for Saturdays classes last night.... Not sure what is wrong with me!?!

Picture for a friend

Beeee Mine Huggabugg

Is this not very cute? I love this little bugg. Its from http://www.stampingbella.com/ and as I have been stamping for classes, magazines, promoting ect I thought this one would be for fun.

I have teamed the bugg up with the Big Shot SU exclusive die and this is a non uk die, sorry to tease but I was gifted with this from a friend so I thought I had better use it. The hearts are embossed in white onto Rose Red SU card, this is the most beautiful colour, has to be my fav. The heart stamp is another stamp from the Polka Dot punches set which we dont have a punch for at the moment, this new punch was just issued in USA in their new catalogue, however it is relatively simple to cut out. I used some Card Candy from Craftwork Cards and a bit of paper pricking too. Oh and I nearly forgot the little swirl is from the Yummy Sale-abration set..

The first one I opened was the doggy one, whilst I love both dogs and cats Milo is such a character that I felt compelled to do a dog card first. Teamed with some lovely Daisy Bucket Papers which I got from Sir Stampalot and the much loved Polkda Dot Punches stamps from SU and yes I know I have been using them to death but I want you all to love them and you only have 19 more days in which you can get these *I am talking about the polka dot punches only for 19 days and NOT the Wild Rose ... AND I only have 19 more days that I can promote them and enjoy them myself ;0).. so anyway I digress.....

Dont those punched flower look lovely embossed in white ? ** Note to self.... emboss more, its fun and looks beautiful ** the little with love is from the "yummy" saleabration set and is fantastic for the front of cards... but also for the back with your signature.

More Punch fun

Here is another video. Enjoy

Fancy Hat Tilda

Tilda is all dressed up to the nines and looks all posh in her pritty hat, perhaps she is going out for dinner, I would suggest the Pigeon and chips! (LOL Joanne, Shaz and Nat!)

I got this lovely Tilda and the lovely bow she is sitting on from http://www.sirstampalot.co.uk/

The flowers were made with a embossing tool and the Stampin' Up! boho blossoms punch, you get all three of these lovely flowers on one punch! and the best thing is they have a stamp to match too ;0) - made the same way as on my video tutorial.

BTW do you want more of these videos?

Wild Rose Studio

On my blog travels I came across a new stamp company called "Wild Rose Studio" and immediately recognised the name of one half of the venture as a lady I have worked with whilst working with Origin Publishing (the magazines I do a little bit of work for). Her designs are toooo cute, she has some adorable dogs, cats, bird, borders and flowers and it is well worth a look! They are clear stamps and priced accordingly so it wont dent the bank balance too much.

I hope Dulcie doesnt mind but I have taken a card off her gallery to show you as I have not got any of these designs (YET)

This cute kitty is soooooo sweet! The flowers on the image are screaming for jewels or glitter to be added. This could sooo be one of my mad cats who are always dashing up a tree.

Here is her website and from there you can shop, be inspired and read her blog too.

Single Colour cards & a little challenge

I havent made one of these for a while and decided to ink up my new Magnolia stamp and make a single colour card. I used the cute tilda blowing hearts and stamped it with Stampin' Up! ink Ruby Red and then used my waterbrush to gently use the ink outline to colour the image in, just in parts. A little paper pricking, punching and flower making and I am done.
This is a really quick and effective way to colour. Why not try it... if you have made a single colour card leave me a message with a link and you can win some stamped images (of this Tilda)
I will close this little challenge in one week.

A little bag I made last night

I made this last night and coloured with my SU inkpads. This is one of the lovely Pollycraft Sharing Sherbert stamps. ADORABLE or what? Look at those eyes! those little wings are cute as can be.

The background paper was the last piece that I made the other day with the Polka Dot Punches set. Wording circle is Craftwork Cards and I made the flower on my flower punches tutorial on yesterdays post.

Very simple, but very cute!

Scallop Punch Video

You tube scallop flower video

Embedding wont work so here is the link above - hated my voice so we have a rather annoying tune over the top and some funny and informative pop ups.

This has taken ages to upload, now I remember why I dont do more! hassle..

Stamp Heaven

WOW talk about good mail day today. I got so much to share.. so much to ink up! Remember a while back I sold a few stamps for my huggabugg fund, well I got those today!! YIPEEEEE lots of lovely bugs ;0)

Then I got the ADORABLE Pollycrafts stamp. OMG these images are to die for.... beautiful! They are out now and I cant wait to have a good play with these... and keep your eyes open for these in Quick Cards Made Easy AND Cardmaking and Papercraft too as I have got a few things lined up with them soon ;0)

I also, last but by no means least, some adorable Magnolia Love Collection from www.sirstampalot.co.uk and I cant wait to ink those up too.

So if I am not back soon you know why, I am playing with all my lovely goodies ;0)

Seems as well as rubber lovers I have twitchers too and you all guessed the bird was a Thrush and I intially thought that too so I think we must all be right. Been racking my brains all afternoon for a name for my new birdie.. He seems to be looking after a certain berry bush in our garden and this is about right for a thrush as I was wikapediaing about them yesterday. The are very teritorial over things like this.

I am currently uploading a punch tutorial to you tube, taking forever and I need to rough edit before I upload. I have another coming but it will have to wait until tomorrow as its taking too long.

Me again

Here is Mr Milo in the snow! He loves it... we took him over the park yesterday and he really enjoyed it.

Here is a card I made using one of the lovely new Penny Black stamps from The Glitter Pot. They have these in stock NOW! I coloured this in with my SU Inkpads.

Any bird lovers out there? Tell us what this bird is? He was outside on our fence for a lot of the day yesterday and believe it or not its very spooky, I have been looking for him all morning and just as I started typing about him he is there now! He is a beautiful bird. Bigger than a starling, he has a real fat chest.

and lastly here is a card I made with a Penny Black Hedgehog. One of the new designs ;0)

More snow photos

Their faces say it all really... FUN!

The S Word

And for once I dont mean Stamps!!

Look what we have.....

We have approx 10 - 12 cm and there is no sign of it stopping. School has been closed YIPEE so Harvey is well pleased. I am too to be truthful as I havent got my car and I wasnt about to walk there especially as there is a lot more forecast.
My New Penny Black stamps have been eased in gently and I have coloured a few in, just need to make some cards so maybe between the snow fun I might get something made with them. remember a while back I sold a load of stamps so I could get my Bellas? Well they havent come yet, whats the betting that they will come today, or I will be carded today so I cant collect them!!
Also anyone a knitter of doggy jumpers? I think Milo needs one!! LOL His poor little tummy is buried in the snow and in Harveys words..
*** WARNING kids one liner ABOUT A DOGS PRIVATE PARTS ***
"Milos poor little nuts are frozen" !!! Kids eh?
Beavers is cancelled and TicTac forsaw the snow warnings and has arranged a meeting just by his house with 10 sledges so if we feel brave at 5pm we're go out for sledging for 1/2 hour this really is the best snow we have had since Harvey has been around so we need to get out and take advantage of it. I am sure I will be updating with lots more pictures.
Take care and wrap up everyone
